We are happy to announce that we will be part of this year’s Microfluidics Consortium Meeting, organized by the Centre for Business Innovation.
Thanks to the generous invitation from Consortium Facilitator Peter Hewkin, we will be giving a Microfluidics Hotseat talk on how OpenDrop is making digital microfluidics accessible. Of course, we will also bring some OpenDrop devices for you to experiment with in a hands-on session.
The Microfluidics Consortium 2025 Meeting is hosted by the AGORA Cancer Research Center in Switzerland. EPFL, one of Europe’s most vibrant and cosmopolitan science and technology institutions, is a key partner in the event.
We hope to see you there, embracing the event’s motto: refresh relationships, present new achievements, and exchange gossip.
📅 Starts: April 8, 2025 • 08:30 AM
📅 Ends: April 10, 2025 • 03:30 PM
Special event organized by GaudiLabs:
Hands-On Digital Microfluidics at the Lausanne Open Biolab!

Join us for an interactive demonstration of the OpenDrop Digital Microfluidics Platform (gaudilabs.ch/OpenDrop) at Hackuarium, a community-run open science lab. Explore the capabilities of electrowetting-based droplet manipulation, meet GaudiLabs, the creators of OpenDrop, and discuss the latest developments in digital microfluidics with fellow experts.
Enjoy Swiss chocolate while gaining insights into the global open science hardware movement and its benefits for microfluidics research.
We look forward to welcoming you!
How to get there: From the EPFL campus, board the M1 metro towards Lausanne-Flon and get off at Crochy station. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Hackuarium, located at Route de Crochy 20, 1024 Écublens.
