The OpenDrop Version 3 has 4 new liquid reservoirs to supply liquids onto the electrode array. First tests show they work while still a bit uneven. Had to use some surfactants to make the liquid flow under the topcover glass more easily. I used some Tween20.
Ryan Fobel from SciBots recommends the use of Pluronics (F68, L64) or Tetronic
90R4. Use F68 for mammalian cells; otherwise 90R4 is the best for preventing biofouling.
4 TC-Reservoirs on OpenDrop V3
The reservoir design is a TC-shape type (named after the shape of a T and a C). Ispired by the numerical modeling in this paper by .
